Written in moments of solitude, these tracks lean into heavier emotions rather than shying away from them. There’s a sense of longing here, but also comfort, a recognition of life’s stretches of weariness and the quiet rest that waits beyond them.

"There are moments when a feeling comes over us, leaving us longing for rest. When for just a bit we would be okay to pause it all, cease to exist and drift through our memories. When this feeling becomes overwhelming it can feel like life is a long stretch of work that will eventually be rewarded with rest. Permanent rest. All these sounds where written and made with that feeling in mind. Some day, we’ll be allowed to be set free of everything. Then it will all be quiet.
