Tribino

Tribino is a Bergen-based rapper, drummer, and producer known for crafting a distinctive musical expression by blending the genres he grew up with. Drawing from jazz, hip-hop, rap, R&B, and soul he moves effortlessly across musical landscapes. Tribino grew up in a home where music was always present. Records were constantly spinning, shaping his musical curiosity from an early age. Today, he is an active presence in Bergen’s music scene, equally at home performing jazz one day and hip-hop the next. Tribino began his musical journey playing the cello at a young age in an orchestra before transitioning to drums and percussion, inspired by his uncle Ivar, also known as Mr. Sjef, a recognized drummer and comedian. Holding a four-year bachelor’s degree in jazz music, Tribino now works full-time as a musician and producer. He performs with artists and bands such as Goofy Geese, Gutu Abera, Espen Horne, Hachikō, and La Vacanza, and has worked closely with GiddyGang, Miss Tati, Petter Blom, Martin Blom, and Nelly Moar
