"STRANGERS..." is a 27-track beat tape from catcher0027 and homelylewis.
All made gritty, raw, left rough on purpose. Dusty drums under crate-dug samples, jazz flute, soft Rhodes, the odd voice cut. Some beats lean boom bap, swung and soulful, loops that hit like a hook you can't shake. Others open up; hypnotic, late-night, drifting. Two producers trading off and pushing each other through it.
For heads who came up on Madlib, Dilla, and Nujabes, or anyone who likes their lofi with some real weight underneath.
