HENOSIS

Introducing "HENOSIS" - a collaboration between DRAAGEN and Ultraposh where they blend ambient jazz, lo-fi warmth, and nostalgic depth. Built on improvisation and layered with trombone harmonies, vocal melodies, and vintage synths, the album feels both mellow and substantial, like a memory half-remembered.

The title "henosis" refers to a sense of oneness or unity, a concept rooted in ancient philosophy. Here, it reflects the music’s meditative pull, the way tension and warmth coexist, the way acoustic and electronic elements blend, and the way the album itself feels like a single, unfolding moment.

Recorded at Urban Sound Studios in Oslo, the music carries the weight of tape saturation and the intimacy of a room full of instruments. There’s a sense of mystery here, but it’s comforting: a reflection of the beauty and strangeness found in liminal spaces, old VHS tapes, and the passage of time.
